Walero - Limited Warranty
At Walero, we are committed to delivering premium quality, safety and performance in every garment. We stand behind our products with a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.
Important: This warranty applies only to Walero motorsport garments manufactured under the current FIA 8856-2018 homologation standard, which are also SFI 3.3 certified.
It does not cover earlier product ranges (such as the 1.0 base layer range) or the Walero Active range.
How to Register Your Warranty
To activate your 2-year warranty, register your product within 14 days of purchase.
1. Visit our iWarranty registration page: https://walero.iwarranty.co/register-product
2. Enter your order number, product details, and contact information.
3. Submit your registration - you’ll receive a confirmation email from iWarranty.
How to Make a Claim
Walero has partnered with iWarranty to make your warranty experience simple and seamless.
To submit a claim:
Log into your iWarranty portal (if your product is registered): https://walero.iwarranty.co/register-claim
2. Provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
3. Return the defective product for inspection, if requested, or provide photos to support your claim.
If your claim is approved, Walero will, at its discretion:
• Repair the product,
• Replace it with the same or an equivalent model, or
• Provide a pro-rated refund if the product is no longer available.
Warranty Coverage
• Warranty Period: 2 years from the date of purchase.
• Covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended conditions of use.
• Applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
What’s Covered
• Defective seams or stitching.
• Fabric faults present at the time of purchase.
• Broken zippers, drawcords, or trims resulting from a manufacturing defect.
• Compliance with FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.3 homologation standards.
What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear, including pilling, fading, stretching, thinning fabric, or minor degradation from regular use.
• Damage caused by improper care (e.g. high-heat drying, bleach, harsh detergents, or ignoring care labels).
• Abrasion, pulls, or snags caused by contact with equipment or rough surfaces.
• Discolouration or odour retention from sweat, detergents, or environmental exposure.
• Accidental damage, including rips, burns, or cuts.
• Modifications, alterations, or personalisation unless performed by Walero or an authorised Walero partner and accompanied by valid certification.
• Damage caused by extreme circumstances (e.g. chemical exposure, excessive heat beyond certified limits, or improper storage).
• Embroidery, patches, or modifications that compromise the garment’s structural integrity or compliance with certification standards.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. Walero is not liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product failure.
• Injuries or accidents arising from misuse, modification, or failure to comply with motorsport safety regulations.
Governing Law
This warranty, and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
